Changing Colors of Mesh and Background.
Sometimes, the default mesh color (gray) does not provide adequate contrast, or
maybe you just don't like the two-tone color gradient background of the graphics
window. Both can easily be changed. We will show you how you can go
from the view on the left to what's shown in the right image.

To Summarize
To change the background to a solid color:
- Go to Tools --> Options --> Common Settings --> Graphics Style
- click on the drop-down for "background style"
- select "solid" as the background style
- click on the color field next to "back ground color 1"
- then click on the three dots (...) to bring up the color palette
- change back ground color 1 to white (or whatever you prefer)
- click OK to close all dialog boxes
- ...your graphics window background is now a solid color
To change the color of the element outlines (the mesh):
- Go to Tools --> Options --> Common Settings --> Graphics Style
- click on the color field next to "mesh edge color"
- then click on the three dots (...) to bring up the color palette
- select the color of your choice (we like black)
- click OK to close all dialog boxes
- ...you will notice that your element outlines DO NOT change color right
away
- go to the model tree, right-click on "Mesh", then "Preview Mesh"
- ...now your new color for the elements will show up
