Using Capped Iso-Surfaces

The capped iso-surface view displays contours on the interior and exterior of the part - the contour legend is the means to control which surfaces are displayed.

The image at the bottom right shows how you can display a region of your model which falls into a specific results range of contour values.

To summarize:

Use the options in the context toolbar to adjust the plotted regions. To view the undeformed model with the selected surfaces, select the "to show the undeformed model" icon. The hash marks on the legend indicate the areas that will be hidden.

Use the melt-away bar (slider bar) on the right side of the toolbar to drag through the color range of the contour values. This way you can specify which parts of the model should be hidden based on the results magnitude you specify on the contour bar.

Click on the bottom capped iso-surfaces icon to display only those iso-surfaces through the part which are greater then the value selected with the slider bar. Click the top capped iso-surfaces icon to display only those iso-surfaces through the part which are less then the value selected with the slider bar.
